What Stage 15?

Frank Schleck has decided to stop sucking. If he’s really coming into form now, then with the second rest day and a timetrial TT up next he has an honest to goodness shot at the podium and a maybe even the overall.

But Frank has issues:

— He’s still 2’16” back.

— Joaquin Mofo Rodriguez (Katusha) seems to be riding strongest and smartest as he biatch slapped the Red away from crackin’ Vincenzo Nibali (Liquigas).

— Ezequiel “Who?” Mosquera (Xacobeo) is like a freakin’ terrier and now that he has his teeth in the carpet covering that damned podium, I don’t see him easily relinquishing his hold on it.

— Nibali may be teetering, but he hasn’t fallen and the rest day and TT will help him at least as much as they help Frank.

So I’m gonna have to hold off on crowning Frank the Once and Future Favorite, or passing him his own personal bottle of bubbly, just yet.
