Took my first 50 mile ride today. Damn did it hurt.
I haven’t done much more than 30 until today.
No BOL sightings and now I’m just sweaty, dirty and in pain.
I think my best times last year, when I was doing 5o every weekend, were about the same as today’s. I’m happy with that as a starting point.
Some great hills out beyond St Charles, a really hilly area. Even with my legs hurting from yesterday I had a great time riding them, though it still would have been better if I’d have my left / front shifter working.
